Center for Direct
Marketing (CDM), founded in 1999 and evolved from the accountability of direct
response television, is a performance-based marketing services company with a
variety of clients who seek customers in both business-to-business and
business-to-consumer sectors. The
partners, each with over 20 years each in traditional and direct response
advertising, added Internet services to its clients campaigns over a year
ago.
CDM Services:
Traffic acquisition, Coregistration, Permission email, Affiliate program
management and Search engine optimization.
Our clients Internet
offers range from CPM to CPC and CPA for traffic acquisition (banner
advertising) as well as permission emailings.
We place 70 offers for over 25 clients with well-known names like
Columbia House, Chase, AT&T, DirecTV, eBay, Doubleday, and Discover.
We also help sites such as MyFree, Milesource, NetFlip and GroupLotto to
get more visitors. We recommend,
outsource and may supervise search engine optimization, ecatalog, shopping and
auction services based on client budgets and parameters.
For traffic and
permission services, we generally take 15% commission.
Our clients may give us a gross amount and we present the offer to
vendors (internet publishers and email companies) at a net amount for their
acceptance.
By 2002, affiliate
programs will make up 25% of ecommerce sales according to Jupiter.
CDM has experience running affiliate program for Term Life Insurance,
SocialNet, Zixmail and Earthsports, among others.
We manage client
affiliate programs with strategic affiliate development, ongoing competitive
analysis and recommendations to increase ROI, as well as a high level of
responsiveness and development of programs for the best-performing affiliates.
We have developed
affiliate programs from scratch to help develop the details of what will appear
at the site. We recommend methods to gain greater and faster activation,
as well as to incentivize best-performing affiliates.
Our affiliate program
management is designed to take the burden off clients with our proactive
approach. We work to develop a variety of options to incent sites to
post client ads and to reward the best performers.
With these programs in place, we can kick into high gear quickly.
Our reporting is weekly, unless otherwise requested.
Analysis and affiliate response is ongoing.
Our clients hold the
agreements directly with the vendors. We
forward insertion orders and credit applications for signature by the client. This process also speeds up payment to the vendors by 30
days, which they like. Our general
agreement includes a mutual non-disclosure so you can feel comfortable in
sharing private information.
Affiliate program
management is fee-based and were glad to develop a performance element for
hitting pre-selected goals. Our
process is to ask a number of questions to get a sense of client goals and put a
proposal together outlining timetables, estimated ROI and costs for review.
